Pokemon Yellow: Pikachu Edition Gameboy Cheats

Get Bulbasaur
After you get Squirtle, go to Cerulean city, and in one of the houses there is a lady, who has Pokemon next to her. Talk to her and she will ask you a question. Choose the top answer and she will ask you another question. Choose the top answer again and you get Bulbasaur!

Get Charmander
There are several ways to snag Charmander. On way is to travel to Ceruleon City, and talk with the man on the other side of Nugget Bridge. The other way is to beat SS. St. Anne to port and speak to Officer Jenny.

Get Squirtle
After getting off the S.S. Anne, and getting the Thunderbadge from the gymleader, Lt. Surge, then you can get Squirtle from Officer Jenny in the middle of town.

Pikachu Stuff
1. When pikachu's really mad, he'll have a skull (I think) over his head, and he'll look like he's doing thunderbolt. When he's happy, he will jump up and down.*

2. Jump over a ledge, but don't let pikachu come off it. He will become unpatient and he will do various things after a while.

3. While you do #2, sometimes if you walk forward while he's doing that, sometimes he'll slide after you.

* I meant the maximum mad and happy.

Safari Zone Pokemon
Go to Cinnabar island. Go to the pokemon center, then go to safari zone and use an escape rope to go back to Cinnabar island. Then surf on the right coast line and if you did it right you will get a safari zone pokemon.

Level 5 Gyarados
Fly to Fushia city, go to the place where you get the Good Rod, go in the back yard there will be a lake fish in it with the Super Rod. After a while you should come upon a level 5 Gyarados. Note: Recommend using lots of Ultra Balls, it is almost like catching a regular Gyarados.

Unlimited way to stop Sleeping
After get the Poke flute. Use it in battle when a Pokémon from your side is asleep. It will awake so you don’t need "Awakening" anymore. You can use it as much as you can!

Glitch City
This is a really neat code! So the code begins...

This is a code no one knows about. It is a really good code, and more people should know about it. The following is only informative about the Red/Blue Glitch City. The one in the yellow version is totally different. Glitch City is best done in this 8-Step process...

1.Go into the Safari Zone entrance building, and when the guy says, "It's 500$ dollars to enter, would you like to come in", say YES.

2. Then go into the first rest house you encounter. Talk to the guy with the glasses once. Then leave early by going out the main entrance of the Safari Zone.

3.When the guy says, "Leaving early?" say NO. You will be sent back out. Don't make a move.

4. After doing this, leave early again, and when the guy says, "Leaving early?", say NO again.

5. Once you are back in the Safari Zone, save the game, turn it off, then turn it back on. After this, leave early again.

6. Once you leave early again, this is when the first glitch appears. Instead of the guy saying, "Leaving early", he says, "It's 500$ to enter. Would you like to come in?" When he says this, say NO.

7.From here, you will be sent back into Fuchsia. Pretty normal 'eh? Well the codes' not over! Once in Fuchsia, fly to Cinnabar Island. Then surf up and down the east coast (you will not find Missingno, instead you will run into Safari Pok?mon. See the Safari cheat below for more information.) Now this may take about ten minutes, but it works. The amount of time you have to catch Pok?mon in the Safari Zone is 500 steps, and it will be on Cinnabar Island! Remember, it takes 500 steps until time's up, so if you'd like to keep track, just count 500 steps (remember, keep on going up and down Cinnabar, and if you'd like, you can put the timer on for 10 minutes). And when you run into Safari Pokemon, just run away. It doesn't change anything. Use repel if you want to. (Trust me, it does work!)

As you can see, the "Ding-Dong" that normally goes off in the Safari Zone happens off Cinnabar.

8. After 500 steps, you will hear a "Ding-Dong" just like you hear in the Safari Zone when you run out of time only it's on Cinnabar Island. You will automatically be transported to the Safari Zone entrance building, and then leave the building. You will be in Glitch City!

After leaving the Safari Building, you'll be in Glitch City.

When you are in Glitch City, don't go too far to the left of the right. You will get stuck in invisible walls. You also have a chance to swim on land and walk on water! This is by far the most interesting code. In the red/blue version, if you go left to the hedge in Glitch City and jump over it, you will come to "checkered water". Go to the top left square, go left one space and then right one. You will be stuck, but you can surf. This is how to surf on land. If you head straight east or north, eventually you will get to the game's limits and it will shut off. Just turn the game on again and you will be returned to the last place you saved. The only way to get out of glitch city is to fly out, so if you save, make absolutely sure you have a Pokemon that knows how to fly, or you will be stuck in glitch city forever.

In the red and blue version Glitch City, this is the "checkered-water" you will come to.

(CHALLENGE: After you leave the safari entrance building (when you are about to fly to Cinnabar Island), you can fly to another place. Flying to Lavender Town, route 17 (the bike route), or several other places during the trick will trigger a totally different glitch city. If you go to the Bike Route on step 7, there'll be a Glitch City but one in which you walk down automatically, like the bikes! However, the Glitch City resulting from Cinnabar's coast allows you to walk around more than in any other discovered glitch city.)

Pokemon Red and Blue Versions Gameboy Cheats

Easy Exp points
Fight Elite 4 with for example Rattata level 6 or lower. By doing this it will give the pokemon a ton of exp points.

99 of Any Item
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.

Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island.

When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your sixth item!

Boss Tactics
Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders:

Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.
Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.
Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.
Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).
In the Indigo Plateu you find 5 pokemon masters. Use this pokemon lineup for a better chance of success:

Celadon City Slot Tip
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot.

If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Cut Down Grassy Areas
Once you get the HM "cut", your pokemon can cut down grassy areas. Use "cut" and it will cut a two by two area. Wild Pokemon will not attack you in the area you cut.

Easy Level Gain
To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokémon you want to train with the top Pokémon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokémon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points.

Extra Damage
While fighting, select your desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack (eg. "Venusaur used Razor Leaf"), hold down the A button until your opponent's life stops draining. If your timing was right you'll do more damage than usual.

Fight Land Creatures in Water
To fight creatures that normally live on land in water, go to the water around Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Islands (The only place you can be randomly attacked while swimming.) Swim along the shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.)

Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get safari zone monsters, you need to go to the section of the safari zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the coast. Using this trick I have caught Kangaskhan, Scyther, and Tauros!

Fight the Elite Four More Than Once
First collect all eight badges. Then go through victory road. Next beat the Elite Four. After that your Pokémon will become Hall of Famers. Then the credits will show, following by your game resetting. Go back to your Continued Game. You will be back at home. Then fly back and beat them again and again. This helps your higher leveled Pokémon because you can still get a few thousand exp.

Get Mewtwo
After you have gotten all eight of your badges you need to go beat the Pokémon league. The credits will roll and then the menu pops up again. DO NOT RESET THE GAME!!!! Go to Cerulean City go north to the bridge where you faced 5 trainers before the path to Bill's house. Turn left and there will be a large area of water. Surf until you get to a cave. You will find Mewtwo in that cave.

Get MissingNo.
Warning! Catch missingno in the red version may delete your old game and prevent you from saving any other games.

To get MissingNo (a glitch) go to Cinnabar Island and go into the Pokémon Research Laboratory and trade with anyone in the first room. Then leave the Lab and go to the EAST of Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the part where the land meets the water. Eventually the battle screen will come up and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds.

Once you find him I suggest you use a Level 30 to 40 Pokémon. This is because Missing No., even at Lv. 80, has a VERY low defense rating. So get him down pretty low. Even at low he is still extremely difficult to catch. So next get a Pokémon that knows a sleep move and put him to sleep. Follow this up with a couple Ultra Balls and you should have him.

NOTE: Catching MissingNo. may cause minor glitches. Also note that if he evolves (i.e., by receiving a Rare Candy) he will turn into a Khangiskahn.

Get the Mimic TM
Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM.

Invisible Walls in Koga's Gym
If you look at the floors in Koga's Gym you will notice it has lines. In some spots you will see little gaps in the lines. These "gapped lines" are the invisible walls.

Level 100+ Pokemon
Follow these instructions to catch pokemon with really high levels.

Talk to the old man in Viridian City who shows you how to catch pokemon.
Fly directly to Cinnabar Island.
Put your strongest pokemon on your team.
You might want to save now.
Surf on the shore where the land touches water.
Keep Surfing until you run into one of these strong pokemon.
These pokemon are well above level 100. Unfortunately, they will revert back to Level 100 if they gain any experience points. Rare Candy is the only thing that raises their level. They can be used in a two-player battle without losing their level, so have fun liquidating your friends!
NOTE: This is a bug in the game. It will not work in newer versions of Pokemon and may crash your game if you try it.

Secret Coins
At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button.

Change POKE ball into Masterball
To change your master ball into a poke ball you must first get at least 3 poke balls and once you done that get into a battle. Weaken the wild Pokemon by 40 percent [by estimating]. Now chuck a Poke ball at the wild pokemon, when the Poke is in midair hold down and B button, if you done this correctly the poke ball should automatically change into a master ball.

NOTE: If you use the cheat on a very strong pokemon the cheat won't work.

How To Train Pokemon Fast
To train your pokemon to a high level you must first do the 99 of any items on the rare candies. Once you have done this use the candies on your pokemon and they will start growing to higher levels.

The Phantom PC
Go to the hotel in Celedon City. Stand where the PC is in a Pokémon Center and you will be on a PC with all the options.

Secret Pokemon
To get a Lv.173 Wartortle go to Cinnabar island an surf up and down nearest to the shore. It may take a minute but a wartortle will show, if you picked a sqirtle at the begging of the game this is pretty much useless, to capture this taught Pokémon put your best at the top and pound him until 10% of his life is dead then use ultraballs and you should catch him. Note: If he gains any exp. points he will move to Lv.100.

Hidden Potion
Go to Viridian City, up to the Old Man (the one who shows you how to catch a weedle). Turn left down a passage. There will be a bush there. Do not cut down this bush. Instead, go up to it and press B. There will be a message saying "(Your name here) found Potion".

Infinity HP for Lv.100 Pokemon
First you must go to Viriden City and talk to the old man and say "No I am not in a hurry."Then FLY to Cinnibar Island then SURF on the right side of the water like half on land and half on water. Then SURF up and down until you get in a battle and if it is a Pokémon above Lv.100 nothing lower not Missingigo or MissingNo don't battle the Pokémon just catch with a Ultra Ball, or a Master Ball when you caught it go to your PC and withdraw the Pokémon or you have it with you. Then go to the Pokémon League and put the Pokémon at the top of the list battle Loriel and when she sends out Dewgong send out your Pokémon that's Level is higher than 100 then kill her Pokémon than your Pokémon will grow to Lv.100 than keep on battling with that Pokémon and when you look at its HP it health is like a long line.

Contact Pokemon League HQ
After you beat the game, go to any poke shop and log onto the computer. One of the new choices will be the Pokemon League HQ. You can contact them and see your stats for the game and the Elite 4.

Glitch City
First, go to the Safari Zone. Walk around until you have 50-100 steps left but stay near the exit. When you have 50-100 steps left, save your game and turn it off and on. go out and the guy will ask if you want to play. Say no and fly to Cinnabar. Surf on the coast where you would do the Missingno. cheat. Eventually the PA will call saying your time is up. You will be back in the place before the Zone. Go out and you'll be in Glitch City. If you get caught in a trap, fly away. If you can’t, turn off your game.

High Stats
Trained Pokemon by Rare Candies, haves half power than a Pokemon that been Trained by fighthing. however, there's way to get a Rare Candy Pokemon to his maximum power, like a normal trained Pokemon.

Get the next Items:

PP Up (You find this Item in the Secret Dungeon)

Copy these Items and use it on Pokemon on Level 100 or lower.
For each Different Stat Item takes 10 uses on each Pokemon.
Use the PP Up on Each Pokemon's Attack 3 Times.
Your Pokemon will be faster Stronger Defensiver, and also his attacks will be more usefull.

PP Up
To get PP Up go to the Secret Dungeon (The Place where you find/found Mewtwo).
go to the north of the cave, do not go in the first ladder you reach, use a pokemon with surf to cross the river to get to the upper cave in the right corner, go in.
once you reach the lower floor go 1 Up 1 left 3 Down 1 Left 3 Down 2 Left 1 Down 2 Left 1 Down 1 Right 5 Down 3 Right 2 Up 1 Left 3 Up, there?s the PP Up.
Use Dig or Escape Rope to Get out the cave.
Copy PP Up.
Use it on your Pokemon to increase the PP for each Attack.

Easier way to catch Abra
Required:

- Pok?mon 1 that knows Sleep Powder
- Pok?mon 2 that knows Disable
- Pokemon 3 Diglet lvl 15 in that order
- 5 Pok?balls (any type, except masterball)
- Space left for Abra (Pc or Party).

Save you're game data, and look for Abra on route 24.
Use sleep powder without fail. and next use Disable without fail too. and next Diglet. use scratch and Abra's Hp will catch by a half. Throw a Ball to catch him, make sure you have 5 Pok?balls or less.
By any chase, if Abra use Teleport you'll have to start over.

Note: Abra is also easy to catch with a Masterball, but if you play fairly, you can use the method above.

Weakness of Bide
When the move is activated in battle. it will charge for 2-5 turns. And next cause a lot of Damage. But only if you're Pokémon attacks. Use a stat-attack (like Tail Attack or Growl) until the bide releases the power. You’re Pokémon wouldn’t hurt.

Unlimited way to stop Sleeping
After get the Poke flute. Use it in battle when a Pokémon from your side is asleep. It will awake so you don’t need "Awakening" anymore. You can use it as much as you can!

Stalling Evolution
To stall a Pokémon’s evolution, press B when its evolving and you will get a message saying

"Huh? [Pokémon Name] stopped evolving!"

It’s particularly good in instances when a Pokémon can only learn techniques in a more basic stage.

Pokemon Gameboy Cheats

NOTE: The site I found the following cheats, put them under the game name "Pokemon" and didn't give which versions it's meant for, I am assuming these ones are meant for the Blue and Red versions and possibly the Yellow version.

150 Master Balls
(You need a Master Ball for this trick) Put your Master Ball in sixth place on your item list. Talk to the guy that teaches you how to catch Pokémon in viridian city. Fly to Cinnabar Island and swim on the coast by the gym. When you find Missingno., beat him. When you get out of the battle check your item list it should have a zero with a little picture by it. (This trick works with any item)

Hint: Quit the Hassle!
Instead of going to Seafoam Islands, Fly to Pallet Town and Surf South to get to Cinnabar. You may have to battle a few trainers, but it's faster than going through Seafoam Islands.

Stone and Trade Evolution
Some Pokémon will only Evolve when they have been traded. They are:

Starting Monster Tip
The best monster to choose when you have to pick one at the start of the game is the Bulbasaur because he, unlike the other two, is a duel type pokemon (grass and poison) and will do best against the first few monsters.

Hidden Pokemon
There are three pokemon that are hidden in the game.The pokemon are Zapdos, Mortles, and Artincuno.

Zapdos can be found in the Power Plant by Cerulean City. Go on route 9,the area near the Rock Tunnel which you needed Flash for. Make sure you have the SURF abilty. Once you have surf go to the area where Route 9 ends. Go to the water and use surf. Keep going down and you'll see a opening where the rocks brek to open land, go on that and you'll see a big building. Go in there a keep walking around untill you see a bird pokemon standing there. Save your game and then fight the bird. Capture it, then its on too Fuchsia City!

If you have fly go to the Fuchsia City gate on the left. You'll see a few little jumpable cliffs. Go to the edge of the water and use surf. Keep going left and you should see some islands. Go in the cave that on the islands. You must have strength to get this next bird. Once in the cave find you way through the cave pushing all the rocks down the holes. This is important because you need to stop the curant flow down below int he cave. Once you find you way to another bird pokemon, do the same as before. This is going to be Articuno.

The final pokemon is Moltres, who an be found once you have all eight badges. After you have all the badges go to Victory Road at the Pokemon League. Make you way through the cave and you should see another bird pokemon. Repeat the same steps as you did for the outher Pokemon.

Get Snorlax
Get the Pokeflute from Mr. Fuji then find the sleeping pokemon. Wake him up and capture him in a battle.

Note: You have only two chances to catch him. Once on Route 11 and once on Route 12.

Get Omanyte, Aerodactyal and Kabuto
To get Aerodactyal and Omanyte or Kabuto you must first collect two out of three items.

In Mt. Moon, before the exit, there is a guy you have to fight. If you when, you get the choice of two fossils. The one on the left is the Dome Fossil, which gives you Kabuto. The one on the right is the Helix Fossil, which gives you Omanyte.

Go back to Pewter City, and cut the bush near the Museum. Go through the back door and speak to the guy near the sphere. He'll give you Old Amber, which gives you Aerodactyal.

To get these extinct pokemon, you most beat Koga in Fushcia City and get HM05 in Safari's Zone's secret house. HM05 teaches Surf, in which you can ride a water pokemon. Go back to Pallet after getting HM05 and the soul badge. Surf down the water way south of pallet until you reach Cinnibar Island.

Enter the building to the left of the pokemon center. Proceed right until you reach the last door. Enter the door and speak to the man at the top. Give him either the Helix fossil, Dome Fossil or Old Amber. Leave, re-enter and he'll give you the corresponding pokemon.

Get Mewtwo

More for the fight land Pokémon on Seafoam Islands
Go to the Fushia City safari zone and find out which zone the Pokémon you want from the safari zone(if you want a Genghis Khan walk in the several grass places until you find one and guess what, that’s where you find a Genghis Khan!). When you find the Pokémon you want, run around in the same area without going over the arrows to another area until time on the P.A. is out. Then surf down from Fushia until you find the first shore that goes vertically. Go up and down there until you fight a Pokémon. You will fight a Pokémon from the last part of the Safari Zone you were in. Remember, Pokémon like Scyther, Pinser, Taurous, and Chansey are hard to find so be patient.

When you throw a Pokeball, be sure to press and hold up and B. The CPU will register it as a Masterball. However, you must time it impeccably or it will not work.

Cheat - MissingNo. and Duplicate Items
First, to do this trick you need to know FLY and SURF and have visited Cinnabar Island. Step one, in viridian city near the top talk to the man who taught you how to catch a weedle and watch him catch it again. step two, after he shows you FLY to Cinnabar Island and set the item you want to be duplicated to be the sixth on the list. step three, SURF up and down the East coast just like in the missingno. code. step four, fight either Missingno. or any of the glitched up pokemon, then run away or defeat it. Taa-da! the item sixth on the list will be duplicated more than 100 times!

Hint
Go to cinibar islands and trade a pokemon in one of the labs afterwards go to the right side of the island and use surf to swim up and down the coast directly next to it then the screen will be black for about 5 seconds when you see him he is called missing number. dont try to hurt him just throw a poke ball at him right away to catch him. he starts off at level 80 but is very weak so be carefull.

Hints
To get all three beginning pokemon, make sure you have two gameboys and follow these steps: 1.)Start a new game on one game boy. 2.)Pick one of the starting pokemon.(Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmandar) 3.)Go to Viridian City and to the shop. Talk to the man at the counter, and he'll ask you to give something to Professor Oak. Give it to Oak, then make your way back to Viridian City's Pokemon Center. Trade your pokemon to the other gameboy. Turn the Game boy off, and start a new game. 4.)Get another starting pokemon. 5.)Go to Viridian City and repeat the steps above. Trade your pokemon and start a new game. 6.)Repeat the strategy over, but don't trade your last beginning pokemon. Instead, make sure you catch two other pokemon. Then go to the pokemon center and trade your two just-caught pokemon for the two starting pokemon you traded earlier. You should now have the three beginning pokemon! (NOTE:The two starting pokemon that were traded back will not obey you once they exceed Lv. 10. You may make them start obeying you by aquiring certain badges.)

In this example, I will be using Blastoise and Pidgey. Blastoise. Blastoise is being cloned. Start to trade the two pokemon. When the person getting the pidgey's screen says 'please wait', turn it off. You may turn the other gameboy off too when it says 'trade completed'. When you turn the game boys on, you'll both have a Blastoise! WARNING! This may erase a game!

Cheat
First trade with one of the people on Cinibar island then surf up and down the East coast with it until you come accross a Missingno. pokemon catch it and put it on top of the you're list of Pokemon then fly up to Viridian city and look at Missingno's stats then talk with the Old Man who shows you how to catch pokemon then fly back down toCinibar island and surf up and down the coast again and you should come across things like level 175 Charmeleons and level 160 Missingno's and sometimes level 0 ++m++ "Mysterio" but don't let any level 0 Pokemon in you're PC until it's level 1 at least.

Safari Zone
Enter the safari zone and go to the plot of grass that the Pokémon you want is in run out of time and surf to the edge of sea foam islands there you will find the Pokémon you want wait for a rare Pokémon because they hardly come but be patient and you will have the Pokémon you want.

Get A Free Rare Candy
First, go to Ceruleun City and go into the man that tells you about the badges back yard. Go into the backyard and keep pressing A and move around. Soon, it will say "Ash Found a Rare Candy."

Mimic TM
Buy a Pokedoll at the Celadon City mall. Go to the Copy Cat's house in Saffron City. Talk to Copy Cat and there will be this cool sequence where Ash talks to Copy Cat (I think it's cool because you never hear Ash talk in the whole game except for now)! Then she will give you the Mimic TM for your Pokedoll.

CHANGE COLOR (gameboy color)
At The beginning when it says GAME BOY Press B->.To Make it all red press <-A. To make it like a pocket press B up. To make it blue press A->

150 rare candys
(You will need at least 1 rare candy) place your rare candy in 6th position. Fly to cinnabar island and fight MissingNo., beat him. NOTE: If the rare candy isn’t in 6th position it won’t work.

Always encounter "missingno"
While you are surfing back and forth along the right
side of Cinnibar Island. When you encounter a Pokémon right when the screen turns all black Hold UP + A and keep holding it if it worked the screen will stay black for a while then it will go to a missingno , if done incorrectly because of bad timing you might encounter Pokémon over level 100.

Unlimited Rare Candies
Go to the Poke Center on Cinnibar Island. Have one rare candy in the sixth slot on your items list. Then go up and down the east coast till you find a Missingno. not the other one. Run from the Missingno and check your items list. The rare candies will have a symbol in the left number.(You don't go to the man in Virdian city for this cheat)

***FAKE CHEAT*** Get Mew, the best pokemon of all!
To get Mew, you must NOT YET HAVE CUT(or still be on the ship with it). Right after you get cut(HM01), go to any trainer on the ship and let him beat you. DO NOT WALK OFF THE SHIP! By letting the trainer win, you get off the ship without it leaving.
After you get surf, go back to the harbor but don't get on the ship. When you are right infront of the S.S. Anne, use surf to get behind the ship and push it out of the way. Where the ship was, Mew should be there. !NOTE!=Mew can learn ANYTHING! Also, he is the strongest Pokemon in the game, and can scare away wild pokemon! He is No.151.

Hint
If you want to get the evolved forms of Nidorina, Nidorino, and Clefairy do not use a Moon Stone on Jigglypuff. You can find Wigglytuff in the Unknown Dungeon.

Cool coincidence? or something else?
I you didn't realize this already, Articuno,Zapdos, and Moltres have spanish numbers in them. The number 1 is in Articuno, which has UNO. Zapdos has #2, which is DOS. Moltres has #3, which is TRES. Pretty cool huh?

Very easy way to get Kangeshkahn
The first thing you must do is make sure you have a rare candy. Then clear a space in your line up. Then you have to go to Viridian, talk to the gatekeeper, listen to his little speech about catching pokemon. Then FLY to Cinnabar island and surf up and down the east coast of it. You will eventually encounter either a Missingno (Missing Number) or a pokemon that has static around the letter 'M' as it's name. If you encounter Missingno, it is very strong (L 132) if you can take it on great, it gives plenty of expierience points. When you encounter M catch it. It should be at level 0 and is very hard to catch. I suggest using duplicated master balls. When you catch the M and feed it a rare candy, it WILL evolve int a Kangeshkahn. Something that is really cool is that you can teach Fly and surf to M, evolve it then teach it cut and strength as a Kangeshkahn. It's funny to watch Kangeshkahn fly. Imagine what it will look like on Pokemon Stadium !

Safariz one Pokemon on Cinabar
Go to the Safarizone and bike around until the P. A. says times up. Then fly to Cinabar Island and Surf up and down the side. You will run into Safari zone Pokemon.

On GameBoy color when the word GameBoy appears on Pokemon hold B+>.

Easy Mew
I've found it! Nintendo said there was only one way to get Mew (from them). Said there was no possible way to get it through the game. Well they lied! The cheat about going behind the S.S. Anne and moving a truck on the land surrounding it doesn't work (moving the S.S. Anne I don't know about). But this cheat does work (I've tried it). It works for either Red, Blue, or Yellow Version. You first must have never beat the Youngster with the Slowpoke on route 25 (between Nugget Bridge and Bill's Place) and the Gambler in front of the underground passage between Celadon and Lavender. Now, first you go to the entrance of the underground passage leading to Lavender. When your right in front of the door, save, and go down one step and press start immediately. You must press start and access the menu before you get into the fight. Make one of your Pokémon fly to Cerulean. When you do that, the menu will go away, the gambler's exlemation point will go up and you'll fly to Cerulean. When your there, you will not be able to access the menu for the game will think you are in a battle and you can't access the menu in a battle (you will also be unable to talk anybody but the two Youngsters on route 25 (those are the only people to my knowledge). If you try to talk to anybody, they will only turn towards you and say nothing). Find the Youngster (he should be the second Youngster there, going from closest to farthest). Do not walk straight up to him or your game will crash. Have it so he'll walk up to you. Beat him. Access menu (you will be able to now) and fly to Lavender. Go left, to route 8 (where the Gambler is). When you get to route 8, the menu will automatically appear. DO NOT SAVE! Exit menu. You will be attacked by a level 7 Mew.
